Sappony Creek Farm opened its stall doors to the public in December 2006 as a multi-breed, multi-discipline boarding, and lesson and training facility. The barn features 35 12x12 box stalls, two boarder tack rooms with custom-built lockers, a riding academy tack room, four grooming stalls, two hot/cold wash stalls, a climate-controlled viewing area with full kitchen, two climate-controlled bathrooms, and a 165’ x 60’ indoor arena featuring Terra 2000 footing—a dust-free, shock absorbing footing.
Outside, Sappony Creek Farm houses a lighted 220’ x 150’ outdoor arena suitable for any type of horse show, clinic, or exhibition. The footing in the outdoor arena is the same used on the track at Churchill Downs and in top show barns across the country. The farm also has a 60-foot round pen with sand footing for training and exercising. Our paddocks and pastures are enclosed by 4’6” tall, four-board wooden fencing—offering a safe and healthy turn-out situation for any horse or pony.
